We’re excited to announce that workshops for the 2016-17 academic year have started in state schools across London and Essex. Our first “Speak Out” workshop was delivered on 14 September and they will continue throughout the year until 4 May 2017. Speakers will compete in school assemblies for a chance to represent their school in a Regional Final.
Independent judging panels will judge the “Speak Out” Challenge Regional Finals and 37 Regional Champions will be selected. These Regional Champions are the top 0.2% of speakers in the competition and their speeches are truly incredible. To see a selection of recent Regional Final speeches please see here. 15 Regional Champions will be selected to speak at the Grand Final for the opportunity to win first prize: a £2,000 trust bond for the student at £3,000 for their school.
